Drop Cap I Image

In days gone by, many publishers had a collection of drop cap letter images they used to start each chapter of the books they printed. Quite a few publishers used the same block-like drop cap images but this set includes a bit of fancy scrollwork to make the letters a bit taller and more interesting.

Use this drop cap I image alone, or with any of the other letter images we found in this set which so far includes: A, C, D, G, H, J, M, O, P, T and W.

Artist: written by Helen Cross Knight (1814-1906), images are most likely publisher images from Thomas Nelson and Sons

Image Appears In: How A Little Boy Learned to Be Wise and Good

Date Image Published: 1881
