An advertising image from a tobacconists shop, this smoking image depicts a gentleman’s pipe. This Meerschaum pipe featured a white vessel with formed metal trim. It was probably quite a pricy item. The good news is since it was first used over 120 years ago, it is copyright free and can be used however you wish.
This vintage drawing was published in 1879 in the December 30th edition of Harper’s Young People.
