This fierce tabby kitty looks ready for battle in this public domain cat drawing. It isn’t a cute and cuddly cat illustration but it could make for an interesting piece with the addition of something for the cat to hiss at. Perhaps one of our free dog images would work well.
My First Picture Book may not have been the first vintage book of vintage illustrations that I’ve found but it did include a number of nice images by the artist Joseph Martin Kronheim (1810-1896).
This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
