The Oyster Catcher

As his name implies, the oyster catcher feeds generally on shell-fish – oysters and limpets. His powerful beak is designed to detach them from the rocks to which they are fastened and open the shells. While not as recognizable as some of the other birds in this series, this free, downloadable image of an oyster catcher would make an interesting addition to your next creative project.
