Santa arrives to deliver presents. Driving his sleigh through a snow-covered lane; he brings Christmas gifts to stately old home. In case you didn’t already guess, this great Christmas image accompanied an 1862 edition of A Visit From Saint Nicholas. It is the work of the artist F.O.C. Darley (1822-1888).
