Two families play together in this charming vintage book plate image. Two young children play with a trio of kittens as their mother and father look on. The mother holds a baby in her lap while scratching the mother cat on the head. Both families are in a barn doorway and in the background you can see their garden and the town off in the distance. This wonderful family drawing is copyright free and in the public domain. It is form an 1852 issue of Godey’s Lady’s Book.
