This free fancy letter image of the letter I needs a bit of trimming to get rid of the letter t; but I’ll leave that bit of editing up to you. This delicate, yet bold drop cap I will definitely add a bit of royal styling to your next project.

This is a stock publisher’s image that was included in the book A Box of Stories: Packed for Young Folks that was published by Blackie & Son of Glasgow. It dates back to at least 1883.

This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
