A young goat appears to be protecting his mother from a barking dog in this copyright free vintage drawing. As the mother goat stretches over the garden fence to nibble at a bush, a pair of kids try to educate the dog about their mother’s horns. Would make a great picture for a child to build a story upon or for anyone looking for goat images where the goat is eating something precious.
This vintage drawing was from an 1882 book, published by Hall and Whiting of Boston entitled Golden Rays.
