Everybody Into the Pool

Fun drawing that could represent the sentiment of everybody into the pool – froggie style. Something must have disturbed this group of frogs to make them all decide to dive into the water at once. But, it makes for an interesting drawing – through the frogs do look a bit mean.

I always love finding books illustrated by Harrison Weir (1824-1906) because I know it will contain a number of great drawings. This one from 1877 was no exception. It was included in the children’s book Lily’s Screen.
