Perseus is attended to by three young goddesses as he prepares his quest to deliver the head of Medusa to Polydectes. Perseus was armed for battle with gifts from three powerful Greek Gods and Goddesses. Hermes gave him his adamantine curved sword, while Athena gave him her highly-polished bronze shield, and Hades gave his helmet of invisibility.
