Japanese Flowers

Japanese style drawing of flowers on branches in red and gold. This cover art is copyright free and would make a dramatic addition to your next creative project. I think it would particularly work well with a mixed media art project because the original cover was made of fabric and the weave of the fabric is clearly visible in this vintage flower image. And, don't you just love the art deco style sun setting in the foreground?

Artist: no illustrator listed, author was Thomas Wallace Knox (1835-1896) and Harper & Brothers were the publishers

Image Appears In: The Boy Travellers in the Far East :: Adventures of Two Youths in a Journey to Japan and China

Date Image Published: 1879
