This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown. The GossipsOliver Herford is one of my favorites. His charming pencil-like sketches almost always make me smile. These two gossiping mice appear in a larger picture which included the cat the two were talking about. The picture is from a book all about kittens and there were so many wonderful cat drawings in the book that we created a special category for his work. But, these two little mice were just so darn cute that they had to be featured in the mice images category too.
