Drawing of Perseus with the Graeae Sisters

Full color image depicting Perseus questioning the Graeae Sisters while on his quest for Medusa. The Graeae Sisters were three perpetually old women who shared one eye and one tooth. Perseus took their eye to get them to tell him how to find Medusa and the other Gorgons. This large, full color, vintage drawing from Greek Mythology is in the public domain and would make a great addition to a school project about the Ancient Greeks. Walter Crane (1845-1915) drew this image which was included in the 1892 work Wonder Book For Girls & Boys by Nathaniel Hawthorne.
