Letter K Design

letter k designKnow what? This letter K design is only the 6th fancy letter K image that I’ve found to share with you here on Reusable Art. It’s a shame really, because the shape of the letter K seems like it would lend itself to all sorts of wonderful designs. This one is from a group of vintage letters that were used to decorate an 1887 book of fairytales. They used 18 different letters of the alphabet to start the chapters and I’ve got all 18! The letters include:  ACDEFGI, K, LMOPQSTVW and Y.

Each of the letters measures 1.5 inches wide and is around 2.8 inches tall. They all have strong, black letter with a white and black border. The letter is then decorated with vines, leaves and flowers. Several of the letters, including this letter K design, have a little something extra. This one has a Griffin too.
