Aww, so sad this little fellow looks. In another of a series of great cats as people vintage cartoon images, this little kitty sits alone in detention. The poem that is displayed explains his fate and I’ll leave it up to you whether or not to include it when you use this image for your notecards, scrapbooks or other creative projects.
Pets At Play is part of the Pearl Series by McLoughlin Bros. Publishers. This book from ca 1880 did not identify the artist of these charming anthropomorphic animal drawings.
