In the last of our collection of white cat drawings our feline friend has found himself a friend in a young street child who shares part of her meager food with the kitty. A maid is running towards them and appears to be coming to rescue our adventurous cat from the streets. This beautiful image of sharing and rescue could easily be used alone to teach children about life and to encourage their imagination. Use this copyright free colorized cat illustration alone or in combination with the other 5 images in this series.
This circa 1865 illustration is sadly not attributed to any artist. Aunt Louisa’s Birthday Gift, written by Laura Valentine (d.1899) and published by Scribner, Welford and Co.; included many animal images that I have shared with you on Reusable Art.
