Vegetables Drawing

vegetables drawingA virtual garden of yummy goodness is what this vintage, 1890 vegetables drawing was designed to showcase. Gardeners were being shown by the Peter Henderson & Co. seed catalog that they too could grow everything from “Big Boston Lettuce” to “Yosemite Mammoth Wax Bush Beans.”

A bit of advertising was included in a card in a middle of all of the plants in this vegetables drawing. You could easily edit out the text to insert your own. All of the vegetables shown are numbered and identified. How many can you identify? I’ll give you a clue, there’s 12 of them.

No peaking.
