Ladies Day Out

With flowered hats and flowing dressing, three ladies take a horse and buggy ride down the lane. The two little girls sitting in back look dressed in their finest party clothes with big floppy hats.

Harriet Roosevelt Richards (1867-1932) was the talented artist responsible for this vintage drawing of ladies day out in the country. It appeared in the book Cricket at the Seashore from 1896.
