I’m not sure if anyone would ever specifically look for a letter L with a nest; but if you are, here it is! The L looks as if it were chiseled out of wood and is decorated with circles and crosses. The nest is hidden among leaves and the side of the L. In the background we see mama bird returning or leaving in search of dinner.
This sweet letter image was included in a French 2-volume work that portrayed fashionable ladies of society as flowers. “Les fleurs animées” was published in 1867. These were likely letters from a print foundry rather than letters unique to this work. We don’t have the entire 26 letter set, but we do have 13. They can be found in the French Printer’s Letters Archive.
Unfortunately, this is one of the smaller letters but hopefully, it will be large enough to meet your needs anyway.
