Standing tall and proud is this goose. Another of our vintage bird images, this goose picture dates back to 1855 and is certain to be in the public domain in most countries.
It seems such a shame that this illustration was not given credit for their work. The author was not identified either for this 1855 book entitled Child’s Book of Water Birds.
This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
