Cockatoo DrawingVintage drawing of a cockatoo on a perch. These beautiful birds are only found in Australasia and over half of the 21 identified species of cockatoos are native to Australia. Cockatoos are large to medium-sized parrots most recognizable by their movable headcrest. This vintage black and white bird image is copyright free and in the public domain. Artist: James Johonnot (1823-1888), the author, did not list an illustrator. However, at least 2 of this book's drawings are identical to drawings by Harrison Weir (1824-1906) posted on Reusable Art that were found in another book.
