Kiss Stealer

A young man appears to be attempting to steal a kiss from a pretty young girl. Most of us can relate to this romantic image. When is it right to get that first kiss. In this vintage image, we’re not sure if the time is right but the fellow is certainly giving it a good try.

The author of Victorian Songs – Lyrics of the Affections and Nature used a number of illustrations by Edmund H. Garrett (1853-1929) to illustrate his 1895 work including this one of a rogue kiss stealer.
