Poet’s Narcissus Drawing

Nothing says winter’s over like a yard full of spring flowers. Our entire neighborhood puts on a display of new growth each spring including many lovely flowers. This public domain flower drawing is of a Poet’s Narcissus. Closely related to the daffodil and often planted together, the narcissus grows about a foot tall and each plant generally has one large flower. In the case of this variety, it has a white flower with a yellow center.

If you’re looking for a tall flower image for a spring project this one might be just what you need. Also be sure to check out our matching Daffodil Drawing.

Lessons From the Vegetable World included a number of flower illustrations. They were published in 1858 and now illustrator or watercolorist was credited for the work.
