Daffodil Drawing

Pretty yellow daffodil drawing. It features a single bloom among its leaves. These bright flowers bloom in early spring. Often peeking their heads up from underneath the last of the winter’s blanket of snow. Daffodils somehow make me smile – it’s like the earth is happy and green again.

This is one of a number of plant images which appeared in the 1858 publication Lessons From the Vegetable World.
