Little Girl & Dolly

Black and white drawing of a little girl going for a walk with her dolly. Strolling among the flowers, the little girl appears to be quite light on her feet as she gently cradles her baby doll in her arms. With curls on her head and a ruffled hem at her knees, she paints such a feminine picture of contentment with herself and the world around her.

I love it when I find vintage materials like 1890 Baby’s Annual Pictures and Stories for Little People. It was published oh so long ago that it is now completely in the public domain. It’s too bad the original artist(s) weren’t identified but that is why this book falls under the 120 years post publication aspect of copyright law.
