Trees in the Snow

A quiet winter scene with trees in the snow. This simple black and white image of trees could would make a great background image for your next creative project. It was used to accompany the words of Kriss Kringle, the alter ego of Clement Clark Moore (1779-1863).

Including a Visit from Santa Claus. Based on the publication date of this book, 1884, until I am told otherwise, I am assuming this image is classified as a work for hire and owned by the publisher. Under US law this image is truly in the public domain, the status might remain in question for other countries. If you recognize the signature and/or illustration, please let me know.
