Public domain kite drawing with a bit of colorization. This image may have originally be published without the eagle, star, flowers and leaves a bit colored in. The drawing could have been colorized for sale or by one of the children who may have at one time called this book their own. It was included in Little Henry and His Bird, a c1852 work published by John R. Bolles of New London, Connecticut.
