Snuggling by the Fire

Romantic drawing of couple snuggling by the fire place. The lady sits in a chair with her gentlemen on the floor before her. Though there’s only two people in this picture it just evokes home and family for me. This book illustration was drawn Alice Barber Stephens (1858-1932) and included in the 1908 work The Wayfarers.

This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
