King Midas Drawings

Midas was king of Pessinus, a city of Phrygia, when he was given anything he wished for by Dionysus. As the Greek myth goes, Midas wished that he could turn everything to gold that he touched. It didn’t take long for Midas to realize the folly of his wish and was fortunate that Dionysus removed this ability before he starved to death.
