Apple Snail Shell

The French book where I found this vintage snail drawing labeled this as the shell of a ampullaria virescens. Best I can tell, this is a drawing of an apple snail shell. Apple snails are often kept as pets in fresh-water aquariums.

The apple snail shell is colored mostly brown but it has splashes of green and the tip appears to be slightly pink. I think it would be a wonderful addition to a mixed media art project with such lovely colors.
