A beautiful lady sits holding some flowers in this lovely vintage drawing. She could be a bride, a bride’s maid or simply a young woman waiting for someone; either way she appears to be sitting pensively waiting for someone. I hope someone can find a use for this lovely image of a beautiful lady.
The author of Victorian Songs – Lyrics of the Affections and Nature used a number of illustrations by Edmund H. Garrett (1853-1929) to illustrate his 1895 work.
