A pair of dollies that have been left abandoned and broken are the focus of this simple black and white vintage image. It seems like there has to be a metaphor out there that could make good use of this image of broken dolls; if so, here it is.

My Toy ABC included this and a number of other vintage toy images. It was published around 1880 without identifying an author or illustrator.

This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
