This black and white sailing ship image seems to depict a gloomy day. However, the number of smaller ships in the background would indicate it was a fine day for sailing. Either way, this ship at sail drawing is copyright free and downloadable.

This is one of a number of drawings the I felt deserved being included on Reusable Art from The Nursery, April 1877, Vol. XXI. No. 4.

This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
