Kentucky Fish

To be honest I’m not sure what the name of this fish is. But, based on the source of this vintage black and white fish drawing; I’m pretty sure it’s a Kentucky fish. It’s from a publication from 1876 that was simply entitled Fish Law. This big fish drawing appeared as part of the logo for the newly established Fish Commission of Kentucky. As you see, lot’s of evidence this fish is a native of Kentucky.

Anyway, no matter what we call him, he’s a nice, large black and white fish drawing. He’s free to download and use on your own creative projects.

The illustration shown below is slightly smaller than the original. He’s so big, he does not fit nicely here without breaking the layout of the page. Just click on the drawing shown below to see him (or her) in all their glory.
