Vintage drawing of a man turning over his garden. It looks like he’s only turned over a few feet of his garden plot and has quite a bit left to do. What could he be planning on growing this year? Perhaps some tomatoes or maybe some carrots. Either way, he sure has a pretty place overlooking the river to work.
Hill’s Album of Biography and Art is a wonderful vintage book by Thomas E. Hill. It was published in 1882. It was absolutely stuffed full of great illustrations. Some appear to be original to this book and I have spotted some in other publications of this period which would seem to mean they were either used by the publisher in multiple works or they were print foundry images.
