Walter Crane Cover Art

This bit of Walter Crane cover art was from the 1899 reprint of the book The Baby’s Bouquet. Walter Crane (1845-1915) has left behind a large library of book illustrations and art. This is one of many of his pieces that you can find here on Reusable Art.

A wonderfully busy book cover image that contains four separate blocks that would work perfectly as frames for scrapbookers – just remove the yellow parts and put your own pictures and artwork. The rest of the frame is decorated with white/cream-colored drawings on a dark blue background. There’s so much to see starting with the central cherub. There’s birds, people, butterflies, flowers, leaves, dogs, cat and probably a few things I’ve missed. Anyone looking for downloadable scrapbooking images of frames will find this full page image highly unusual and captivating.
