Imperial Palace Theatre, Vienna

The Imperial Palace Theater in Vienna as it appeared when it opened in 1886. Taking over 10 years to construct, the theater contained many modern features including strict fire safety. Originally designed by J.J. Kirchner and built by Baron Hasenauer, this building became the home of the Burgtheater. This vintage building drawing is copyright free and may be used however you wish. This building umage was not attributed to any artist and appeared in Scientific American Supplement, No. 530, February 27, 1886.
