Drop cap letter I with flourishes. This letter image is one of 10 that I found used by the same publisher. All of the letters are in the public domain and can be easily used alone or in combination. The other letters include: A, C, D, E, F, M, S, T and W.

This fancy letter drawing and the others in the set were used by the publishing firm Southern Methodist Publishing House in 1886 to decorated Petals Plucked from Sunny Climes by Abbie M. Brooks aka (Silvia Sunshine).

This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
