With 100 complete alphabets and over 350 color and black and white illustrations beginning and advanced calligraphers will learn new techniques to creating their own fancy letters. The author, an internationally recognized expert in the field of calligraphy who currently teaches the fine art of letter drawing at Exeter College of Art and Design in the U.K., shows his knowledge with such simple things as adding a spiral binding to allow the book to completely lay flat without the need of another book or weight to hold it open. The Calligrapher's Bible teaches history of the art of drawing letters along with each alphabet presented. It also discusses,

Each of the 100 alphabets that are included is covered on two pages with the alphabet presented on the left and the basic structure on the right.
