Small sailing ship image that I think would be great for a mixed media art project. This vintage black and white drawing of a sailing ship is quite grungy with reverse text and a bit of fuzzing out due to a poor scan of a very old image.
It appeared in The Child’s Gem and Other Stories from 1852. The publisher was Samuel Raynor.
This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
