Wonderful piece of cover art of a Japanese sailing ship. Use as is or with the title edited out, this vintage colored image is a great piece of Asian art.
Like so much of the wonderful cover art I find, this one was not attributed to a particular artist. It adorned the book The Story of Mark Raffles from 1871. It was wrtten by William Dalton and published by T. Nelson and Sons.
This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
