Dreaming of Sugar Plums

Wonderful illustration of three children sleeping from the famous lines of The Night Before Christmas:

The children were settled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugarplums danced in their heads.

The illustrator of this vintage Christmas image was not identified. It was used to illustrate Clement C. Moore’s (1779-1863) famous poem Night Before Christmas published circa 1870.
