Cat Face

Harrison Weir (1824-1906) founded the National Cat Club. He loved cats. He drew and painted a lot of them. He even wrote the book Our Cats and All About Them. It was published in 1892. This cat face drawing graced the title page and is the first, of what I hope are many, of his wonderful cat drawings to be found here on Reusable Art.

Such a sweet little face; don’t you think? I admit I’m a bit partial to tabbies. They have so much personality and are so darn smart. This sweet sketch-like cat face drawing could easily be a portrait. It would make a great addition to any project that needs a little feline goodness.
